Job Description
The Puyenpa family of companies are comprised of multiple SBA Certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified organizations focused on delivering Information Technology, Management Consulting, and General Construction solutions to the Federal Government along with the Commercial Sector. We are actively seeking a Task Supervisor based in Lawton, OK. Ideally, Candidates must live and work in the Comanche, and Cotton county areas. This is a telecommuting position but you may be required to work onsite depending on business need. However, you will need to be available to return to onsite performance of duties as directed. These procedures are required of all Puyenpa employees.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Puyenpa team supporting the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services as a subcontractor for the Department of Health and Human Service contract which supports the Affordable Care Act. The main responsibilities of the role include:
  • Coordinate with other contract and subcontract personnel to ensure work moves smoothly from one functional area to another.

  • Work with project manager and/or client to prepare work schedules and man-hour estimates.

  • Ensure proper training of subordinates.

  • Maintain record of changes in instructions and ensures all team members are informed of changes.

  • Assign and review subordinates’ performance.

  • Prepare employee performance evaluations.

  • Ensure completion of administrative reporting, e.g., timecards, daily statistics, logs, and task narratives.

  • Respond to client requests and questions. Assists with writing manuals and other documentation.

  • Responsible for status and task management reports for area of responsibility.

  • Set up and manage projects as dictated by workload requirements.

  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Perform a variety of tasks.

  • Work under general supervision.

  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

  • Lead and direct the work of others.

  • Typically report to a supervisor or manager.

Requirements for you to be successful in this position, you must have:

  • Bachelor`s degree and 2-4 years of relevant work experience

  • Work experience beyond 2-4 years will be considered in lieu of education

This position is on a Federal U.S. Government contract which will require candidates to pass a background investigation and drug screen. Medical marijuana cards are not acceptable.

The H&W rate is currently $4.41/hr. The H&W is meant to offset the cost of benefits, and any residual amount will be paid as cash in lieu.
