Information Systems Administrator

As an Information Systems Administrator, your primary role involves managing and maintaining an organization's computer systems and networks. This includes installing and upgrading hardware and software, ensuring system security, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support to users. Additionally, you may be responsible for implementing backup and recovery procedures, monitoring system performance, and keeping abreast of technological advancements to recommend improvements to the organization's IT infrastructure.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Information Systems Administrator: Pay commensurate with experience.

Information Systems Administrator Responsibilities Include:

  • Resolve Tech Training IT hardware, DAF SDC, and commercial non-SDC updates/patching as well as network-related trouble tickets.
  • Perform immersive device setup and configuration, ensuring proper functionality and compatibility with existing systems.
  • Conduct maintenance consistent with manufacturers' warranties to ensure the integrity of the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process.
  • Provide computer systems administration support, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various devices
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Information Systems Administrator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in information systems administration or related field.
  • Security+ certification is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in resolving hardware and software issues, including updates, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with computer systems administration, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with immersive training technologies such as Head Mounted Displays (HMD), Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
